On May 13, Purdue IT is launching “SAP GUI with Secure Login Client” for SAP S/4 Financial and ECP System users. The Secure Login Client provides additional security features and will soon be required to access the systems. Users who do not access S4 or ECP will not be affected.

All S/4 and/or ECP System users should install the upgraded software ASAP.  The package will be available in the Company Portal for users supported by Purdue IT ESS.  Users whose workstation is not managed by Purdue IT ESS will receive updates from IT support staff.

Purdue IT is starting in the S/4 sandbox environment with the Secure Login requirement on May 13.   Communication will be sent out prior to the requirements being added to additional environments.  S/4 production is expected by the end of July 2024.
