Technology Discounts For Students & Staff

Qualified Purdue faculty, staff, students and, in some cases, alumni have access to Purdue-negotiated pricing on computer hardware, software, and mobility service plans through the Purdue IT Shopping program. The program includes access to online vendor sites with Purdue pricing, and discounted software available online for purchase and download from OnTheHub (formerly Kivuto), a company providing electronic software delivery and software license eligibility.

Shopping at the Purdue University Apple site is a great way to take advantage of Apple education pricing on Mac® computers, Apple software, and select accessories. It’s also an easy way to purchase an iPad® or iPhone® and gives you customization and personalization options.

For personal purchases, shop Purdue University’s Apple site 24/7 and get free delivery right to your door. You can also choose to pick up your order at a local Apple Retail Store®

All Apple hardware comes with a one-year limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary telephone technical support.

Purdue IT Shopping Online provides access to the online Dell storefront with special Purdue pricing on computers and other electronics. Equipment can be ordered online and delivered to a home address.

Purdue IT Shopping Online provides access to the GovConnection storefront where faculty, staff and students can shop for computers and other electronics and receive Purdue pricing. The site contains 300,000 products from over 1600 vendors. Some popular vendors include Toshiba, Lenovo, Sony, Kensington, APC, Lexmark, Belkin, Adobe and Microsoft.

Office 365 for Students, Faculty, and Staff

Purdue has licensed Office 365 from Microsoft to make it available for free on an individual basis to students, faculty and staff, including use on their personally owned machines. Click here to learn more.

AT&T discounted service plans
AT&T offers a 20 percent monthly service discount on qualified voice and data plans to Purdue University students and employees on the West Lafayette, Northwest and Fort Wayne campuses. Purdue students and employees also have access to the best discounts available on the portfolio of AT&T devices. Purdue students and employees can register for the discount on qualified voice plans for standard cell phones, and qualified voice AND data plans for iPhones and other connected devices.

Additionally, Purdue students and employees receiving this discount are able to use AT&T's Business End User Care Support Hotline, reachable at 800-331-0500.

For Mobile Share Advantage plan (Family Talk) users to add the discount, the Purdue student or employee must be the primary user on the account. Purdue staff and students may also receive the discounts by visiting local or authorized AT&T stores and providing retail staff with a valid Purdue (purdue.edu) email address, student or employee ID or paycheck stub and the appropriate Foundation Account Number (FAN) listed below:
