Purdue IT is pleased to announce a partnership with KAZUAR Advanced Technologies to provide state-grade protected laptops for faculty, staff and graduate students (with project sponsor approval) who are traveling outside of the United States and need a secure device. The KAZUAR solution creates a protected space within Purdue data systems and is securely and conveniently accessible from anywhere in the world but only by permitted users. Purdue’s confidential data is protected by a patented hardware and software solution that isolates confidential assets from the open web. This protects against even the most sophisticated digital and physical attacks. 

Request for a secure laptop should be made two weeks prior to leaving campus. Purdue IT staff will work with users to make the device available for pickup from the West Lafayette campus and provide training for its use.
