Device as a Service: Self-service ordering for computer hardware now available

Purdue IT recently launched Device as a Service, a self-service process to order Windows and Apple computer hardware for individual users. Orders can be placed through the new hardware procurement form.

  • At this time, the form accepts one computer request per submission.
  • You can request additional peripherals or accessories (additional monitors, docking stations, headphones, etc.) by responding to the confirmation email that comes from TeamDynamix (TDX).
  • If you are requesting a replacement computer, you can respond to the confirmation email that comes from TeamDynamix (TDX) with the service tag or name of the existing computer.

Your feedback during this pilot period is greatly appreciated. It will not only help improve this hardware procurement process but other self-service options that Purdue IT plans to implement in the future.
