Artificial intelligence training available for faculty, staff

Purdue IT has released an artificial intelligence (AI) learning curriculum, available in the SuccessFactors Learning Management System for faculty and staff. The goal of this recommended training is to provide introductory knowledge to users in the proper use of AI in their university roles.

The first course as part of this initiative is Foundational Literacy in AI: Ethics, which provides learners with an understanding of the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence. Participants will explore core ethical AI principles such as increasing fairness, mitigating bias, and protecting privacy. By examining these issues, learners will gain the tools to engage thoughtfully with AI systems and contribute to ethical practices within their respective disciplines.
