New single sign-on with multifactor authentication for Purdue Fort Wayne

Effective March 10 at approximately 10 pm, Purdue IT will implement a new single sign-on (SSO) using multifactor authentication (MFA) for Fort Wayne faculty, staff and students. This new MFA will be required for CAS authentication both on- and off-campus and will replace the VPN requirement for off-campus access to most PFW CAS login pages.

When users first login to the new SSO, they will be prompted to set up Duo on their mobile device using their Purdue Fort Wayne account credentials. Once Duo is set up, users will receive push notifications on their device to authenticate access.

PFW Faculty & Staff Only: This will require you to set up a second Duo account with your PFW credentials inside the Duo app you currently use for HR and/or IU access.
