Scope - West Lafayette, Calumet and North Central campuses are covered by the agreement.
Commonly used Microsoft software products, including Windows and Office, are licensed for use on all University-owned or -leased computers for the term of the agreement. Each participating campus centrally funds this agreement, covering the cost of licenses. Most non-temporary faculty and staff also have "Work at Home" rights for these products on personally owned computers.
Faculty and staff who wish to use EES software on a personally owned computer must download from OnTheHub and must accept responsibility for complying with EES license terms and University rules regarding usage.
More details of Purdue's EES can be found on the Microsoft Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions page.

Client-Access Licenses (CAL) are required for access to most Microsoft standard server products. The EES provides Core CALs for students, faculty, and staff access to Purdue-owned servers running Windows Server, Exchange Server, System Center Configuration Manager, or SharePoint Server. CALs for other Microsoft server products must be licensed separately.
Product: Enterprise CALs
The EES provides ECALs for faculty and staff. An Enterprise Client Access License enables you to connect devices or user accounts to Microsoft Enterprise Servers. Microsoft ECALs is a suite of products allowing CALs for the following products:
The suite also provides licenses for Microsoft System Center EndPoint Protection Suite.

Product licenses including Visio, Project, MapPoint, SQL Server and SQL Server CALs may be purchased from SHI, Software House International. A quote may be requested by sending an email to edgov@shi.com.
You will also need at least one copy of the software distribution media or electronic ISO to install the product (the same media may be used for all machines that you've licensed for the product). Media may either be purchased from SHI or borrowed from the Contracts and Licensing Group if licenses have been purchased. Please send a copy of the Order Confirmation with your request for media or download.
License Keys are not provided to you by SHI. If you purchase installation media from SHI, you will need to submit a License Key request via the Purdue Service Portal, indicating that appropriate licenses and media have been purchased - providing the copy of the purchase confirmation from SHI will help speed up the process. Project and Visio use the campus KMS, Key Management Server.

Scope - West Lafayette, Calumet and North Central campuses are covered by the agreement. For use on personally-owned computers by Faculty, Staff and Students.
The Microsoft Student Select agreement provides a license and download for selected Microsoft software for Purdue students, Faculty and Staff. Licenses may be perpetual or term and use of the software is not restricted to University-related work.
The higher price for Student Select software is because the individual pays for all of the discounted license rather than part of the license fee being subsidized by the University (as through the EES).
